How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man ?
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand ?
How many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea ?
How many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free ?
How many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky ?
How many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry ?
How many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

The waves carressing the shore, your breath on me.
Rain to a plant-your voice
Two suns in the sky when you smile
Stairway to heaven, your arms
Your presence...
The apotheosis in my life,
The only divinity my soul percieves.
Even a momentary absence,
My heart cries out in anguish.
In your life mine is
Without you, zilch.
Leave me not, ever
In your love, my immortality.

Count the days,
Count the hours,
For a glimpse of you.
Wait all day for dusk,
Only to see the dark clouds playing jigsaw in the sky.
I lie in wait all night for my moon,
Lucky to chance a moment with him before dawn breaks.
And so on it goes...
Hoping against hope to see the moon every night...
Even while he's asleep,
Even on his days off.
O my moon! never can I get enough of you,
Only the memories to last me through.
